Ducati puts smile on Mona Lisa’s face

No wonder Mona Lisa is smiling!

“Ducati Mona Lisa” is the name of the work of art created by the French artist Jisbar (born Jean-Baptiste Launay) which will be auctioned on Thursday 16 July 2020 to raise funds for the #RaceAgainstCOVID.

The charity was organised by the Borgo Panigale motorcycle manufacturer in support of the rehabilitation programs that the Polyclinic of S. Orsola in Bologna has developed for patients in post Covid-19 convalescence.

It follows the recent release of the very limited-edition Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO with €500 from the sale of each going to help the recovery of Bologna COVID-19 patients.

The painting is part of the “Mona Lisa” series, where Jisbar reinterprets Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous masterpiece in different ways through his imaginative and colourful style, which is consecrating him as one of the most interesting emerging youngsters on the pop-art scene world.

In “Ducati Mona Lisa” the female figure in the centre of the picture is surrounded by visual and graphic elements that recall the history of Ducati, its models in the range and some of its most famous riders. The French artist created this work with great enthusiasm and has now made it available for free to support the #RaceAgainstCOVID initiative organised by Ducati.Ducati Mona Lisa aids COVID recovery

“Ducati Mona Lisa”, an acrylic on canvas of 141 x 106cm, will be put up for auction by Cambi Aste on the morning of Thursday 16 July 2020, during auction #481 dedicated to modern and contemporary art, photography and comics, starting at 10am (Bologna time) until the end of the last batch. The auction will be streamed online and offers can be placed directly from the page of the site which can be accessed via a link obtained during the registration phase.

Registrations are already open on www.cambiaste.com. The site is available in Italian, English, French and Chinese, while the auctioneer’s live streaming will only be in Italian.

The proceeds from the sale of the work will be entirely donated to the Policlinico di S. Orsola in Bologna.

Is a Ducati really a Ducati if it’s white and not red?

White is the new red at Ducati after last week unveiling a gorgeous White Rosso livery for the Panigale V2 and now a Multistrada 950 S in “GP White” livery.

To many, a Ducati is only a Ducati if it’s red. The same could be said for Kawasaki’s that are not green, Yamahas that are not blue and Harleys that are not black. But Ducati really “owns” the colour red!

However, I have owned three Ducatis and only one was red!

Which do you think looks most like a Ducati?

Of course red is faster, especially Ducati Red, and many great Ducatis have been red, but I do like the pearly white paint Ducati uses on their bikes.

White is more

Mind you, it will cost extra.

The white V2 is expected to be in European showrooms next month and in Australia in September.

Price in Australia will be $23,350 ride away which is $450 more than the red V2, although it does a few minor upgrades including a more comfy seat.

And, of course, there is Ducati Red in the rims, the front air intakes and the deflectors of the upper half-fairings.

The Multistrada 950 S “GP White”, both in the alloy wheels and spoked wheels versions, will be available in Ducati dealers within July and should be in Australia in September.

Ducati Multistrada 950 S in GP White

There is no word yet on the price of the Multistrada 950 S, but it also features Ducati Red in the frame and in the graphics on the alloy wheels.

To launch the Multistrada 950 S, Ducati released this video set among the unmistakable landscapes of the Motor Valley in Emilia-Romagna.

Multistrada 950 S comes with a suite of hi-tech components: electronic suspension with Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo (DSS) system, Ducati Quick Shift up & down (DQS), full-LED headlamp with Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), 5” colour TFT display, Hands Free system, Cruise Control and backlit handlebar controls, as well as Bosch ABS Cornering.Ducati Multistrada 950 S white red

For the 2021 model year, all Multistrada 950 models will be powered by the Testastretta 11° engine (937cc and 113hp) that comply with Euro 5 standard in all countries where it is in force.

On all models of the Multistrada family, Ducati offers a “4Ever Multistrada” warranty, valid for four years with unlimited mileage.

New White Rosso livery for Ducati Panigale V2

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

The colour range of the Ducati Panigale V2 is extended with the tasty new White Rosso livery and the new look will be available from Australian Ducati dealerships this September from $23,350 ride away.

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

Those that thinkg a Ducati MUST be red will still of course have that option but there are also some red accents that provide an interesting contrast on the new White Rosso model, whose white paintwork is dubbed ‘Star White Silk’ by the boys, and girls, at Borgo Panigale.

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

The predominance of white enhances the design of the Panigale V2, highlighting the lines and the purity of the geometrical shapes. At the same time the details in Ducati Red emphasise its sporty character. The Ducati Red colours the rims, the front air intakes and the deflectors of the upper half-fairings.

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

These last two red touches ideally accompany the path of the airflows inside the motorcycle, i.e. those that feed the engine and those that pass through the radiator.

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

This new livery is completed with an additional touch of sportiness thanks to the positioning on the lower half-fairings of the large Panigale V2 logo, inspired by the graphics of Ducati Corse motorcycles.

Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

The Panigale V2, presented less than a year ago and capable of immediately conquering an enthusiastic public, is the super-mid of the Ducati sports bikes and represents the entry model to the Panigale family. It is powered by the 955 cc Superquadro twin-cylinder engine (compliant with Euro 5 standard) and has a maximum power of 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm.

Pecco Bagnaia on the Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso

The delivery of the twin-cylinder is such that more than 70 per cent of the maximum torque is constantly available beyond 5,500 rpm, allowing to get out of the corners quickly, even the slowest ones.

The modern electronics suite is based on the 6-axis inertial platform includes cornering functionality applied to the Bosch ABS, engine braking and wheelie controls. All the controls are integrated into the three Riding Modes (Race, Sport and Street) that can be modified via the 4.3” TFT colour dashboard with graphics and interface designed to make menu navigation and setting adjustments intuitive, as well as the immediate identification of the selected Riding Mode.

Ducati unveils White Rosso Panigale V2

Ducati has unveiled a gorgeous White Rosso livery for the Panigale V2 which debuted at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan last year in Ducati Red.

It is expected to be in showrooms in the next month.

Price has not yet been revealed, but the red V2 is $A22,900 ride away and if previous white editions are a guide, it should cost about $200-300 more.

Ducati says the White Rosso livery has “Star White Silk” as its main colour with Ducati Red colours the rims, the front air intakes and the deflectors of the upper half-fairings.Ducati Panigale V2 in white

This new livery is complemented by a large Panigale V2 logo on the lower half fairings, inspired by the graphics of Ducati Corse motorcycles.

To showcase the new livery, the bike in the photos was “modelled” by Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia of the Pramac Racing Team at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”.

Poetry in motion

Ducati Panigale in whitePecco with V2

As usual, the official Ducati press release has a lot of poetic description as well as some flowery “quotes” from Pecco:

“Since 2016, my personal motto has been #GoFree. For me it means living in a light-hearted and carefree way, having fun and giving priority to the things you love to do. I think the Panigale V2 fits well with this definition and reflects my way of being “, said Pecco Bagnaia after trying the Panigale V2.

“The new livery, so white, is very beautiful and different from the usual. Despite being a street bike, it surprised me how much speed it can have when cornering. It is a fun, very stable and very sincere bike that allows you to go fast, safely, without becoming tired, while having a very strong and decisive character and personality.”Ducati Panigale V2 in white

Panigale V2 power

Panigale V2 is Ducati’s entry model Panigale.

It is powered by the Euro5-compliant 955cc Superquadro twin-cylinder engine with 115kW of power (155hp) at 10,750rpm and 104Nm of torque at 9000rpm.

More than 70% of the maximum torque is available above 5500rpm, allowing riders to exit corners quickly.

The chassis is based on the monocoque frame inspired by the Panigale V4 with a single-sided swingarm and under-engine silencer.Ducati Panigale V2 in white

The electronic rider-aid package includes “cornering” Bosch ABS, an electronic gearbox with up/down quickshift and wheelie control.

All controls are integrated into the three Riding Modes (Race, Sport and Street) that can be modified via the 4.3” TFT colour dashboard.

It comes with fully-adjustable suspension with 43mm Showa Big Piston Forks and a Sachs shock absorber.

The V2 is shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II multi-compound tyres.

There is also a Sachs steering damper, Brembo brakes with M4.32 monobloc callipers activated by a radial brake master cylinder. The discs are 320mm at the front and single 245mm rear disc.

New Ducati ANZ boss explains benefits

Now that Ducati has taken over the reigns of importing into Australia and New Zealand from NF Importers (Frasers), new subsidiary boss Sergi Canovas (above) has explained the benefits to customers and dealers.

We conducted an interview with Sergi where he answered not only our questions but those supplied by Ducati Owners Club members.

Background

Sergi was born in Barcelona 47 years ago and has been a passionate rider form an early age, riding a Bultaco dirt bike alongside his father.

He joined the Piaggio Group in 2004 working in the sales team at Derbi Motorcycles, eventually becoming the manager for southern Spain before becoming the import manager for Europe.

In 2010, he moved to Vietnam to open Piaggio’s Asia-Pacific unit.

He joined his “dream manufacturer” in 2017 when he got the call from Ducati to become country manager in India.

The largest Ducati store in the world is in New Delhi - Thai - asian marketDucati’s New Delhi showroom is the second largest in the world

“Last year, I was lucky enough to receive the project to set up a subsidiary in Australia,” he says.

“It’s a fantastic country and I can’t wait to ride around it.”

However, his movements have since been curtailed by the pandemic.

“Australia is a special market for us,” he says.

“There is a very emotional connection between Bologna and Australia, especially with racing and Australia riders. We will continue that connection with Jack Miller next year. It couldn’t be a better time to come to Australia”.

When Sergie arrived, Frasers gave him a Scrambler 1100 Sport to ride around, but he is now waiting for Ducati’s press bike fleet to arrive and has his eye set on a Streetfighter V4.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 ready to brawlDucati Streetfighter V4

Here’s the Q&A with Sergi

Q: How tough has it been to arrive in the middle of a pandemic?

A: That’s a worldwide problem, but Australia has been very lucky as it hasn’t affected your heath much. In terms of the market there was a big downturn in numbers in March April, but May and now June seems to be coming back to normal. Let’s hope it continues.

Q: What is your priority?

A: First priority is to take sure that we have the network operating properly with training and communication. We also want to maximise our presence in the market using all our marketing tools in social media and PR.

Q: Will this Ducati import subsidiary mean cheaper bikes?

A: We try to maintain consistency in prices around countries. Prices are also based on the individual markets. (In other words, no change.)

Q: What can owners expect in terms of response from Ducati on bike issues?

A: We will be closer to customers and understand the needs of the market and be quicker with our response. It shortens the communication channel with the brand in Italy. Customers will notice this. Training will also be good, plus marketing, sales and product.

Q: What is the future for sportsbikes in the company?

A: Sportsbike is in our DNA and it will remain there forever. It’s part of our history. But the motorcycling market is a lot of different trends. Trends change, but we retain the Ducati style.

Q: How will Ducati seek new riders?

A: We recently launched the 950 Hypermotard which makes young people more attracted to biking. Sometimes it’s more aggressive bikes and sometimes more accessible bikes like the Scrambler. These make it possible for the customer to enter the Ducati world. Motivation to buy a Scrambler is different to buying a sportsbike and we need to explore that.

Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVEDucati Hypermotard 950 RVE

Q: How will you support the Desmo Owners Clubs?

A: We have a dedicated department in Italy that deals with DOCs and they have a meeting with all the presidents and try to understand what they need and we explain what we are doing. We also need to go out and visit them and understand their needs. I was supposed to be in New Zealand on a DOC ride in March but the pandemic stopped that, but I hope to get out soon.

Q: How can owners clubs support the relationship?

A: Just being loyal is a big asset to us. We want to leverage that. There will be more opportunities to ride.

Q: Will you bring back the inclusive Ducati Turismo event?

A: We have activities for different customers and potential customers around the world. We want Ducatisti to come but we also want to see others come. Grab a bike from a dealer and join in.

Q: Will Ducati move into the smaller displacement categories?

The Scrambler 62 helped us gain newcomers who we hope will upgrade to the next model. Definitely this segment is growing in India and it’s a good platform to bring in new riders. This would really benefit us. They would start the journey with us. But we don’t have small bikes in mind in the next few years.

Q: Will there be greater factory representation at events?

A: Of course. This is one of our biggest assets and why we work with Ducati to leverage on these amazing activities. Unfortunately we don’t have the MotoGP this year at Phillip Island, but we should have the World Superbikes in March.

Q: Will you increase the number of Ducati resellers and dealers?

A: Dealer coverage is good. We are where we have to be. What we need to do now is support dealers with training and support.

Ducati Owners Club of Victoria celebrate their 40th anniversary motorcyclesDucati Owners Club of Victoria

Q: How will you support the large contingent of classic Ducati owners in Australia and New Zealand in answering their questions, provenance inquiries and hard-to-find parts?

A: We support all Ducati customers. We are the best ones to ask and we now have better lines of communication with the experts at the factory.

Q: Will Ducati build more bikes in Thailand?

We currently bring in the Monster 659 and Scrambler from Thailand. We have the right sort of products from Italy. I don’t see anything to think about changing this mix.

Ducati Superleggera V4 001/500 rolls off production line – Video

The first Ducati Superleggera V4 comes off the production line of the Borgo Panigale plant

This is #001 of the 500 units scheduled in a limited and numbered series; the only motorcycle in the world approved for road use with a frame, swingarm and carbon fibre rims, is finally available. A masterpiece of mechanical engineering, technique and “made in Italy” design, which sets a new benchmark in terms of performance, style and attention to detail.

The exclusivity of the materials and technical solutions adopted on the Superleggera V4 are also reflected in the maximum number of motorcycles envisaged: 500 numbered units accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The progressive numbering of the motorcycles (XXX/500), coinciding with the chassis number, is shown on the steering head, and on the ignition key.

Ducati Superleggera V4

The first of the lucky owners of this fantastic bike has been invited to Borgo Panigale for a delivery ceremony and, in the next few days, he will personally meet Claudio Domenicali, Ducati CEO, to receive his Superleggera V4 001/500.

The uniqueness of the Superleggera V4 project is underlined by the experiences that Ducati together with Ducati Corse have exclusively reserved for the owners of the motorcycle: the “Superbike Experience” – the possibility for all fans who purchase a Superleggera V4 to be able to try out the Panigale V4 R that takes part in the SBK World Championship on track at Mugello. Even more incredible and exclusive is the opportunity – limited to 30 owners of the Superleggera V4 – to purchase access to the “MotoGP Experience”, thus realizing the dream of every sports motorcycle enthusiast. For the first time it will be possible to ride the Desmosedici GP on the circuit, followed directly by Ducati Corse technicians. Both “Experiences” have been confirmed for 2021.

Ducati Superleggera V4

The attention that completes the purchase experience of the Superleggera V4, also includes the possibility of personalizing the Superleggera V4 leathers with air bags from the “SuMisura Ducati” line, as well as completing the look with a carbon helmet, both dedicated to this motorbike, whose colours and graphics they replicate.

Each motorcycle is equipped with a Racing kit: complete exhaust for Akrapovič racing track use in titanium; open clutch cover in carbon fibre; swingarm cover in carbon fibre with titanium “slider”; headlamp and light replacement kit; license plate holder removal kit; side stand removal kit; mirror replacement aluminium caps from billet; Ducati Data Analyzer + GPS (DDA + GPS); racing fuel cap, brake lever protection, motorcycle cover; front and rear stand and battery charger.

Ducati Superleggera V4

The bike is delivered inside a wooden crate with specially made customization for the transport of this “made in Borgo Panigale” masterpiece.

Ducati Superleggera V4

Finally, all customers receive a sculptural reproduction of the Superleggera V4 in 1:10 scale, modelled in futuristic aerodynamic shapes. A real collector’s item personalized with your motorbike number.

Superleggera V4

The Superleggera V4 is the only motorcycle in the world, approved for road use, with the entire load-bearing structure of the chassis (frame, subframe, swingarm and rims), made of composite material, obtaining, for these components only, a weight saving of 6.7 kg compared to those of the Panigale V4 MY20. To ensure the highest quality and safety standards, these components are 100% controlled by the most sophisticated techniques borrowed from the aerospace industry, such as thermography, ultrasound checks, and tomography.

Ducati Superleggera V4

Many components are made of carbon fibre, modelled in advanced aerodynamic shapes. These include the fairing, which reaches efficiency levels higher than those of today’s MotoGP bikes, which are limited in this by the current technical regulations. Thanks to the aerodynamic biplane appendages inspired by Ducati’s 2016 MotoGP bike, the most highly-performing in this field, it is able to guarantee a vertical load of 50 kg of “downforce” at 270 km/h, 20 kg more than that produced by the wings of the Panigale V4 MY20 and V4R. This downforce improves acceleration by counteracting the tendency to wheelie and increases braking stability.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The carbon fairings are embellished with a livery inspired by the Desmosedici GP19, with an alternation of lines and depths between the red colour of the GP19 and the visible carbon that highlight the shapes, the materials and the technical details. The red continues on the coloured sides of the OEM Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres, specifically developed in the construction for the Superleggera V4.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The most powerful and lightest Desmosedici Stradale R engine is hidden under the carbon skin. The 998 cc 90° V4 unit of the Superleggera V4 weighs 2.8 kg less than the 1,103 cc V4 and, thanks to the Akrapovič approved exhaust, produces 224 hp of power in road configuration (EU homologation value), which becomes 234 hp by mounting the titanium Akrapovič exhaust for track use, which is included in the Racing Kit supplied with the bike.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The racing connotation of the engine is emphasized by the use of a dry clutch and by the timing of the Desmodromic system made manually by a specialist who, after checking, confirms the positive result by affixing his signature on the metal plate that embellishes the carbon cover of the rear cylinder bank.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

Only on the Superleggera V4, by loading the engine calibration for the racing exhaust, is it possible to enable the display of the “RaceGP” dashboard. Intended for circuit use only, it derives from that of the Desmosedici GP20 dashboard designed on the indications of Andrea Dovizioso.

Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fibre, components made of titanium, magnesium and others from aluminium billet, the Superleggera V4 shows a dry weight of 159 kg on the scale (16 kg less than the Panigale V4), for a power/weight ratio of 1.41 hp/kg. A record value for a homologated sports bike. In track configuration, by mounting the Racing kit supplied with the bike, the power rises to 234 hp and the weight drops to 152.2 kg, with a power/weight ratio of 1.54 hp/kg.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The electronic controls have also been evolved in a purely racing perspective. By default, the operating parameters of these are associated with three reprogrammed Riding Modes with specific names (Race A, Race B and Sport). In addition, for the first time five Riding Modes can be added, customisable with your favourite settings.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The rider can monitor lap times through the evolution of the Lap Timer, which now allows you to store the coordinates of the finish line and the split times of five favourite circuits, so as to recall them every time you go out on the track without having to repeat the data logging procedure. By default the system proposes the coordinates of the finish line and intermediates of Laguna Seca, Mugello, Jerez, Sepang and Losail. Added to this is a latest-generation electronic package that includes EVO 2 strategies for DTC and DQS up/down.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

Öhlins lightened suspensions with pressurized fork and lightened billet foot and shock absorber with titanium spring and GP-derived valves are part of the equipment, which improve the absorption of road roughness in the initial compression phase.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

The braking system is the best of Brembo production with an MCS radial pump equipped with a remote control for adjusting the distance of the lever and Stylema R calipers, an exclusive of the Superleggera V4 that allows greater consistency of front brake travel in long runs on the track.

Ducati Superleggera VDucati Superleggera V4

All this translates into a level of performance of absolute importance. Alessandro Valia, official Ducati tester, with Racing Kit and slick tyres, lapped the Mugello circuit in 1m52.45s, less than two seconds away from the time of the Panigale V4R SBK winner with Michele Pirro in CIV 2019.

An example of maximum attention to detail is the aluminium radiator cap machined from billet and the dedicated ignition key with aluminium insert on which the motorcycle number is indicated.

Ducati Superleggera V4 rolls off production line

The first Ducati Superleggera V4 has finally rolled off the Borgo Panigale production line after being delayed by the coronavirus pandemic.

The 167kW (224hp) Superleggera V4 was unveiled in February just before the pandemic shut down the factory and put the project on ice.

In May, CEO Claudio Domenicali tweeted that their fastest and lightest bike yet was about to hit the production line.

A month later the bike has rolled out of the factory doors.

There is no price tag yet announced.  But as they say, if you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it. Probably more than $A150,000.

The bike will be coming to Australia in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Here is the official press release:Ducati Superleggera V4

This is the #001 of the 500 units scheduled in a limited and numbered series; the only motorcycle in the world approved for road use with a frame, swingarm and carbon fibre rims, is finally available. A masterpiece of mechanical engineering, technique and “made in Italy” design, which sets a new benchmark in terms of performance, style and attention to detail.

The exclusivity of the materials and technical solutions adopted on the Superleggera V4 are also reflected in the maximum number of motorcycles envisaged: 500 numbered units accompanied by a certificate of authenticity . The progressive numbering of the motorcycles (XXX/500), coinciding with the chassis number, is shown on the steering head, and on the ignition key.

Even more incredible and exclusive is the opportunity – limited to 30 owners of the Superleggera V4 – to purchase access to the “MotoGP Experience “, thus realizing the dream of every sports motorcycle enthusiast. For the first time it will be possible to ride the Desmosedici GP on the circuit, followed directly by Ducati Corse technicians. Both “Experiences” have been confirmed for 2021.Ducati Superleggera V4

The bike is delivered inside a wooden crate with specially made customization for the transport of this “made in Borgo Panigale” masterpiece.
Finally, all customers receive a sculptural reproduction of the Superleggera V4 in 1:10 scale, modelled in futuristic aerodynamic shapes. A real collector’s item personalized with your motorbike number.

The specific set-up of the chassis gives an unparalleled deceleration capacity, an extraordinary speed of descent when cornering and a marked tendency of the bike to close the trajectories when exiting corners.

Many components are made of carbon fibre , modelled in advanced aerodynamic shapes.

The most powerful and lightest Desmosedici Stradale R engine is hidden under the carbon skin. The 998 cc 90° V4 unit of the Superleggera V4 weighs 2.8 kg less than the 1,103 cc V4 and, thanks to the Akrapovič approved exhaust, produces 224 hp of power in road configuration(EU homologation value), which becomes 234 hp by mounting the titanium Akrapovič exhaust for track use, which is included in the Racing Kit supplied with the bike.

Ducati Superleggera V4The racing connotation of the engine is emphasized by the use of a dry clutch and by the timing of the Desmodromic system made manually by a specialist who, after checking, confirms the positive result by affixing his signature on the metal plate that embellishes the carbon cover of the rear cylinder bank.

The electronic controls have also been evolved in a purely racing perspective. By default, the operating parameters of these are associated with three reprogrammed Riding Modes with specific names (Race A, Race B and Sport). In addition, for the first time five Riding Modes can be added, customizable with your favourite settings.

Öhlins lightened suspensions with pressurized fork and lightened billet foot and shock absorber with titanium spring and GP-derived valves are part of the equipment, which improve the absorption of road roughness in the initial compression phase.Ducati Superleggera V4

The braking system is the best of Brembo production with an MCS radial pump equipped with a remote control for adjusting the distance of the lever and Stylema® R calipers, an exclusive of the Superleggera V4 that allows greater consistency of front brake travel in long runs on the track.

All this translates into a level of performance of absolute importance. Alessandro Valia, official Ducati tester, with Racing Kit and slick tyres, lapped the Mugello circuit in 1m52.45s , less than two seconds away from the time of the Panigale V4R SBK winner with Michele Pirro in CIV 2019.

An example of maximum attention to detail is the aluminium radiator cap machined from billet and the dedicated ignition key with aluminium insert on which the motorcycle number is indicated.

The Superleggera V4 is an extreme machine, devised and designed to achieve maximum performance on the circuit, but at the same time guaranteeing the reliability and ease of use requirements typical of a sports motorcycle homologated for road use. With this motorcycle Ducati pushes the limit even further. The technical competence and knowledge developed and continuously evolved in MotoGP is made available to fans of technique and performance on two wheels.
