Benelli TNT 600i LAMS

Benelli have re-introduced their 600 cc LAMS offering, the naked TNT 600i, which has been missing from the line-up for a number of years. It had previously been called the BN 600S and offers an updated four-cylinder option in a category dominated by parallel twins.

Three New Benelli Motorcycles For India By End of 2021

Benelli has just announced that they will be releasing three bikes to the Indian populace by the end of 2021 – and one of them is set to grace the showroom stage tomorrow, July 29.

The Italian company hasn’t confirmed the other two bike models. However, a report from BikeWhale speculates that the manufacturer already anticipates a release of a motorcycle called the TNT 302S – a bike capable of punching out a bit more power than the Imperiale 400, Benelli’s entry-level motorcycle, and boasting the same powertrain as the Leoncino 500 and TRK 502

Whether the TNT 302S’s release date has been moved up from December 2022 to be included in the pair of mystery bikes is yet to be seen, although the choice would contribute to the mid-power range of Benelli’s showroom and fit in line with Benelli’s other comment, that they would be ‘focusing on the 250cc-500cc segment in the near future’.

Other reports suggest the eligible Benelli TNT 600i to be in line for a bit of an update as well. It was such a massive hit in India at the time of its release, especially given that the TNT 600i presented a reasonable price and provided the covetous ‘big bike’ aesthetic

Benelli will be releasing updates on the other two bikes shortly; until then, the company plans to expand its dealership network across India to support the growth of its 250cc-500cc bike segment.

New Mystery Sportbike Spotted From QJ Motors/Benelli

With promises of releasing as many as seven new models in India by August of this year, Chinese-owned Italian brand Benelli has been busy – and they’re about to drop a little treat for us rubberists.

According to RushLane, A new motorcycle with ties to both QJ Motors and Benelli has just been spotted in China via a spy shot – and it is expected that Qianjiang Motor will be releasing the new sportbike under the Benelli brand name.

a full view of a new motorcycle with ties to both QJ Motors and Benelli

As seen in the spy photo, the bike features a split seat setup, rear-set footpegs, and a clip-on handlebar, with a raised tail and compact upswept exhaust reminiscent of their 250cc superbike design.

Expected specs include a compact exhaust, USD forks at the front of the bike, a rear mono-shock, and a potential 500cc twin-cylinder motor – the same as the motor in Bellini’s Leoncino 500. It’s this last detail that has sparked rumors that the bike could sport ‘502R’ in the model name, rendering it the start of a new series.

Should the 502R harbor Leoncino’s motor, we would be looking at an engine with a hefty 46.8 bhp at 8500 rpm and 46 Nm of peak torque at 6000 rpm. That, coincidentally, would put the competition right up the alley of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 – and if it makes it across the seas, it will bring some throttle-twisting competition to today’s mid-range moto market.

Stay tuned for updates, and head over to WebBikeWorld for a peek at other comparable motors by Benelli.

Can the E&E XR338 Street Tracker Become a Reality?

An Italian-Designed Compact Flat Tracker for American Markets? Count me in

Engines Engineering has been developing amazing designs since 1979 when they first started offering design services to other Italian builders. With small-displacement motorcycles quickly gaining popularity on a worldwide stage, it only makes sense for a brand to finally bring a flat tracker inspired design to a smaller displacement motorcycle.

Taking the Benelli 302S, E&E has reverse-engineered it from the ground up and has drafted up the designs for a beautiful two-cylinder street tracker geared towards American riders.

The Benelli 302S platform that they have based this build off of features a 300cc twin-cylinder engine that products 37.5 horsepower and 19 lb-ft of torque.

This isn’t just a bolt-on kit either, the prototype takes the 302S chassis to a whole new level boasting a newly designed frame, ECU, muffler, wheels, and suspension components.

Typically many concept motorcycles rarely leave the drawing board to be translated to a real-world prototype, but luckily for E&E, they are already more than halfway through the process of bringing this model to production with their fully functional prototype.

When we first saw the initial Indian FTR 1200 concept, it ended up making a complete 180 in order to bring regulations and safety standards to the bike. It ended up in reality very loosely to what we saw in the initial prototype. E&E has taken a different approach though, and this prototype is already Euro 5 standard and holds USA’s DOT and CARB certifications for roadway use.

E&E claims that the prototype is already 70% of the way to mass production and will take less than 6 months to complete the final stages to fill the final 30%.

They plan to bring this motorcycle to shows across North America in 2021 to bring awareness and interest to the project in hopes it can take flight on our shores.

Benelli Is Working on 10 New Engines

That’s a Lot

So, the Chinese owned brand Benelli has been in the news quite a lot recently around the world for new motorcycles and possible new motorcycles. Many of these possible new bikes have what would be a new engine for the brand in them. According to Indian Auto Blog, Benelli will make a total of 10 new engines for new bikes in the coming years.

There will be single-cylinder engines, parallel-twin engines, three-cylinder engines, and four-cylinder engines. The displacement on these engines will range from 250cc to 1,200cc. It’s unclear what engines exactly will appear but recent bike reveals likely show us some of the 10 engines that will come out.

For example, there’s the Benelli TRK 502 that recently was confirmed for various markets. This bike features a 499cc parallel-twin engine. There is also a larger adventure bike in the works as well as a large sport touring machine that was recently unveiled called the 1200 GT. I’d expect the onslaught of new models around the globe from the brand to continue.

QJ Motors SRT 750

Most of these new bikes are just rebranded QJ Motors bikes, and that is, in many people’s eyes, less than ideal. However, some of these rebranded bikes will undoubtedly be good motorcycles. It will be interesting to see what happens with Benelli in the future.

QJ Motors Launches SRT 750 ADV Motorcycle

This Will Get Rebranded as a Benelli

Say hello to the QJ Motors SRT 750 adventure motorcycle, according to BikeWale. The bike was recently revealed for the Chinese market and will be an important player there in the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment. However, what’s more interesting about this bike is that it will likely be rebranded and sold under the Benelli marque.

This is something that has happened time and time again with Benelli, and it makes a lot of sense. I don’t see many riders on a global scale riding QJ Motors bikes, but they will ride a Benelli.

The motorcycle will be reworked and renamed the TRK 800. There are no official images or releases about the new TRK 800, but it would be silly for the bike not to be made into that or for Benelli to use a different model.

The bike uses a 754cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder. This is the same engine that’s in the SRB 750 and the Benelli 752S. It’s a good enough engine and should provide all of the power and grunt you’ll need around town and out on the highway or out on the back trails.

Royal Enfield Argentina

Benelli already has the TRK 502, so this model will be a step up from that bike. The TRK 502 will come to the U.S. and many other markets around the world. It will be interesting to see if the TRK 800 will do the same.

Benelli Is Bringing the TRK 502 and TRK 502X to US

Benelli has wanted to bring its adventure bike to the U.S. market for some time now. However, those plans were put on hold with everything going on in the world right now.

Now, according to ADV Pulse, the plan is back on. The publication said that 2021 models are currently arriving on dealer showroom floors. The U.S. adventure motorcycle field expands even more with the addition of these motorcycles.

The Benelli TRK 502 comes in two versions. There’s a more road-focused motorcycle called simply the TRK 502, and then there’s the more off-road-focused TRK 502X.

benelli trk 502

Both motorcycles get a 500cc four-valve per cylinder parallel-twin DOHC engine with electronic fuel injection. The two-cylinder engine makes 47 hp and 34 lb-ft of torque. That engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The bikes both feature a steel trellis frame, inverted front fork with 5.5-inches of suspension travel, a mono-shock in the rear with preload and rebound damping adjustment. The 502X gets compression damping adjustment. The seat height for the 502 is 32.8 inches. For the 502X, it’s 33.9 inches. The 502X also has a different exhaust, which gives it more ground clearance.

Electric Chopper

Both models get a large touring windscreen. The brakes on the bikes are 320mm discs upfront and a 260mm disc in the rear. The 502 has 17-inch wheels. The 502X has a 17-inch in the rear and a 19-inch upfront. Engine guards come standard on the 502X.

The price for the TRK 502 is $5,999. The price for the TRK 502X is $6,399. While the bikes aren’t up on Benelli’s USA website, I’d imagine all the details will be if ADV Pulse is right about them already arriving in dealers.

Benellis shatter auction records

Two 250cc Benelli Grand Prix racing motorcycles have broken the auction world records for the marque at the live and online Bonhams Summer Sale last Sunday (16 August 2020).

The auction was held at Bicester Heritage rather than at the International Classic MotorCycle Show at Stafford, due to government guidelines on COVID-19.

Lots ranged from exotic racing grand prix machinery of the twice-delayed Morbidelli Motorcycle Collection to motorcycle spares and memorabilia.

The auction was Bonham’s most successful motorcycle sale to date, achieving a total of £3.67 million over three days.

A 1950 Benelli 250cc Grand Prix motorcycle, ridden to world championship victory by Dario Ambrosini, was the first to set the new record.

It sold for £138,000 (about $A252,500).

Minutes later that record was shattered by its stablemate, a 1964 250cc Grand Prix machine winner of that year’s Spanish Grand Prix, ridden and signed by two-time world champion Tarquino Provini.

It sold for £149,500 ($A273,560), the top lot of the weekend’s sale.

They were part of a collection of motorcycle gathered over 40 years by motorcycle manufacturer and Grand Prix boss Giancarlo Morbidelli.

It was be the largest single private collection of motorcycles yet offered by Bonhams.

“He spent day and night in the museum,” says his son Guianni. “He had no other life.”

Giancarlo’s collection includes international brands such as Harley-Davidson, Honda and Benelli ranging from immaculate restorations to prototypes and barn finds.

They represent the passion of the farmer’s son and former woodworking machinist who, while building up a successful engineering firm as his day job, spent his spare time on tuning, racing and later building his own motorcycles. auction Records

Another record was set at the summer sale was with a concours 1979 Ducati 864CC Mike Hailwood Replica, a landmark model paying homage to ‘Mike the Bike’s’ historic Isle of Man comeback victory in the 1978 Production Race.

It sold for £36,800, a new UK auction record for this particular model.
