Kenny Noyes’ Autobiography Takes Readers From Championship-Level Highs To Near Death Lows

Kenny Noyes is an American who grew up in Spain and reached the world championship level of roadracing. A horrendous accident nearly took his life. This is his comeback story.

Begin press release:

On August 16, Kenny Noyes’ autobiography, “Challenges of Superbike, Moto2 and Glasgow 3,” went on sale. In the book, with a prologue by three-time FIM 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey, Kenny recounts his extensive racing career and the arduous recovery process after the accident he suffered at MotorLand Aragón six years ago. Over the last three years, the former Moto2 world championship rider and 2014 FIM CEV Superbike champion has combined his rehabilitation with the writing of his story.

This book talks about Kenny’s life before and after the accident. He discusses “how difficult it is to be aware of your limitations and to accept that there are things that will never be the same again.” His goal is to share with readers an inside look at motorcycle racing and, above all, to help other people and families who may be experiencing a similar situation. Kenny sums up his intentions as follows: “With this book I want to show that there is hope and that, although the injury is very serious, there is always the possibility of improvement. I want to give guidelines to people, offer practical examples that can be useful to their families. “Glasgow 3” is the lowest state of consciousness there is, deep coma. I think it is necessary to make people aware of what it means to be in a coma and that coming out of it doesn’t happen like in the movies. It is a long and complicated process.”
