Their personal-best laps were both completed with the help of a tow, in the same train of bikes, with McPhee setting a 1:57.283 and Sasaki a 1:57.394. In what had been a Honda-dominated session at one point, KTM-mounted Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI) finished fourth on a 1:57.850.
