Nakagami undergoes further surgery on right hand

Nakagami picked up the injury on the opening lap of the Aragon Grand Prix in an incident involving Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), and despite competing at his home GP in Japan a week later, Nakagami would eventually miss the races in Thailand, Australia and Malaysia after having initial surgery.

Aprilia quartet spend crucial time in the wind tunnel

In addition, Aprilia’s two new recruits were also doing some important work in the wind tunnel. Miguel Oliveira and Raul Fernandez – both part of the new-look CryptoDATA Aprilia RNF MotoGP™ Team – were dedicating their time to aerodynamic fitting on the new bike. Oliveira was the fastest new bike debutant at the Valencia Test, while Fernandez was also pleased with how his first outing on the RS-GP went.

Finetwork JuniorGP™: 2023 applications now open

Applications/Entries are accepted by the Organisation on the basis of the double criteria of Team/Rider and the right to entry is limited to the participation of the accepted rider within the accepted Team’s structure during a given season. Whether the accepted rider wishes to move to a different team, or the accepted team wishes to substitute the rider, changes are only permitted if previously approved by the Organization. In any such case, additional Entry Fees may apply.

Provisional 2023 entry lists: who sits where next year?

There are plenty of interesting changes in the lightweight class, including Jaume Masia (Red Bull KTM Ajo) switching back to Leopard Racing, while Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Tech 3) and Dani Holgado (Red Bull KTM Ajo) trade places for 2023. Elsehwere, Romano Fenati returns to the track with Rivacold Snipers Team.

Bagnaia and Ducati visit Italian President in Rome

Bagnaia, along with Claudio Domenicali (Ducati CEO), Luigi Dall’Igna (Ducati Corse General Manager), Paolo Ciabatti (Ducati Corse Sporting Director), Davide Tardozzi (Ducati Lenovo Team Manager) and a Ducati delegation, paid a visit to Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, at the Quirinale.

FIM, FIA announce joint ‘Women in Motorsports Conference’

Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club: “As a founder-member of the FIA, it is a pleasure to host the FIA/FIM Women in Motorsports Conference at our London clubhouse. Bautista makes history by completing dream double for Ducati

“Honestly, it has been an unbelievable season,” started Dall’Igna. “I’m so happy for everyone at Ducati Corse who have worked so well, not only this year but for the past few years. They’ve deserved these titles maybe a few years ago but, in the end, we’re so happy with the job we’ve done in MotoGP and World Superbikes in 2022.
