After an intense day of testing the Kawasaki Racing Team Suzuka 8 Hours riders ended the second block of track sessions with a combined time 2m 07.614s, which placed them second overall for the afternoon. The day consisted of 5 separate blocks of track time, split into a morning and an afternoon session. Jonathan Rea, #LeonHaslam and Toprak Razgatlıoglu each had a significant amount of track time throughout the day to work on the setup of their Suzuka 8 Hour specification Ninja ZX-10RR ahead of the weekend’s race. The team will be back at the circuit tomorrow to complete the technical inspections of the race machines and each rider’s kit before two more free practice sessions in the afternoon. #KRTSuzuka8Hours #rideology #ninjaspirit

I’ve loved having @tatiarea all to myself for a few days, and enjoy finishing hot cups of coffee, leisurely dinners with adult conversation and getting out for a few drinks last night. But, I’m so ready to embrace these two little bundles of fun again and get back to the normal crazy chaos and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Just a 10hr flight standing in the way!

Rea Extends Championship Lead With Win And Second
I would never have believed you if you told me I would come here and set a new lap record, win two races and take the overall, so it has been a great weekend. We made a very small change to the bike between the Superpole race and Race Two. My feeling was completely different, which we did not expect. There was a lot of front movement, whereas all weekend before that we had been strong with the front. I had a few small warnings, just enough for me to roll it back a bit, think about finishing and we got it done. I am just super-satisfied with this weekend and I did the best I could in race two. I am looking forward to the summer break now.
