Jonathan Rea (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) got his first taste of the Yamaha YZF-R1 machine at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto on the first of two days of testing. The six-time Champion left his box for the first time as a Yamaha rider around half-an-hour into the session for a few laps as he looks to adjust from Kawasaki to Yamaha machinery.
