Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) is on the cusp of glory as he is just one podium finish away from securing the 2020 MotoGP™ World Championship title in just his sophomore year. The grid returns to Valencia for the penultimate round of the season, with the Circuito de Ricardo Tormo once again playing host to the Gran Premio Motul de Comunitat de Valenciana.

It would be a remarkable feat for the Mallorcan rider, and you have all the information you need below to make sure you don’t miss a second of the action from the southeast of Spain, with the schedule having a familiar feel to it.

As usual, the weekend’s festivities kick-off with the pre-event Press Conference at 17:00 (GMT +1) on Thursday 12th November, with Suzuki teammates Mir and Alex Rins joined by Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda Idemitsu).

The Red Bull Rookies Cup also returns and they will see both their Free Practices either side of the main morning sessions, with 9:15 and 12:50 starts. Then, their qualifying concludes all the day’s action, with that getting underway at 16:25. They will also be the first race of the weekend, closing Saturday’s action, with Race 1 of the Rookies Cup at 16.55.

Moto3™ kicks off the FP3 sessions at 10:00, and they come to a close at 12:35, and before the dust has time to settle, the lightweight class are on the track again as they jostle for grid positions in Qualifying at 13:15.

MotoGP™ have the chance for some final tweaks in FP4 at 14:10 before the battle for pole begins at 14:50 with Q1 and then Q2, while it will be swiftly followed by Moto2™ Qualifying at 15:50.

Sunday’s schedule sees no letup in the action, with the 20-minute Warm Ups starting at 9:00, before Moto3™ is first of the Grand Prix racing to see lights out at 11:00. Moto2™ will be next on the grid at 12:20 while it is then the turn of the premier class at 14:00.
