Rea Wins At Donington Park

I missed my pit board on my first lap but on the second lap I saw that I had quite a big gap already. I have been riding the Kawasaki for quite a few years now, and although we do not get to ride in the wet a lot, the wet setup is pretty good. Even in the change of conditions – completely wet, half wet or a drying track – it seems to be a bike that you can extract a lot of stability out of. So you can stop it well and then use your body weight to get through the corners. I knew if I could arrive at the limit of the package quite early I could take a gamble while the rest of the other guys got up to speed. At the end of the race I thought I should keep pushing on as I knew if there was a lapse of concentration it would be very easy for something to go wrong in these conditions. So I kept going right until the last lap and got it done. But it felt like a really long race! There is still a long way to go but after the Jerez sprint race the gap from the lead to us was 61 points. Now it has flipped over. It is racing and anything can happen. http://jonathan-rea.com/news/rea-wins-donington-park

Vitus Bikes

This thing is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

What better way to celebrate the success of 4-time WorldSBK Champion Jonathan Rea than presenting him with a custom painted Vitus ZX-1 with inspiration taken from him Championship winning Kawasaki ZX-10RR. “Firstly, I’m so proud to become a part of the Vitus Bikes team and when the opportunity came to do a bike build together I was super excited to see the possibilities. I’ve been a keen cyclist now for many years and have enjoyed riding bikes all over the world. Superbike Racing is so physically and mentally demanding, I use cycling as a huge part of my training program! Already the ZX1 is a superb bike but the finishing touches set this weapon aside. All the personal touches on the designs are amazing and it certainly rides as good as it looks. I would like to thank the Vitus team for all their support and commitment to make sure I have the best product to perform my cycling training and ensure I’m in the very best shape in the quest to win a fifth World SBK Championship.” Jonathan Rea MBE – 4 x World Superbike Champion Check out the full build video – http://bit.ly/JR1_Vitus_ZX-1 Article on full build – http://bit.ly/Vitus_ZX-1_JR_Build SRAM road CeramicSpeed Prime Components Schwalbe tires Monster Energy Kawasaki UK Kawasaki USA #vitusbikes #ridemore #jonathanrea #superbike #kawasaki #cycling #roadcycling #custombuild
