REV’IT! RIDES: THE 2020 ADVENTURE RALLY IN MENDOCINO, CA.
After years of participating in ADV and dual-sport events across North America, we decided to put the traditional rally model under a microscope and do what our collection designers do season after season: raise the bar! Welcome to very first REV’IT! Rides: The 2020 Adventure Rally in Mendocino, CA.
THE LOCATION
We wanted to create an event close to nature, that riders could attend in total comfort, without having to haul the usual sleeping or cooking gear, so we partnered with the coastal glamping hub, Mendocino Grove, to truly set this apart from the usual ADV experience.
The property is perched above California’s rugged and lesser-traveled northern section of Highway 1, just minutes away from the storybook-like village of Mendocino. Further north is the fabled “Lost Coast,” to the east is Mendocino National Forest, and everywhere in between are stretches of pristine asphalt that lead through Redwood-lined twisties. Mendocino Grove is as chic as it is rustic, with all the amenities and design-mindedness of a modern boutique hotel, but with mile-high cedars in the place of a cosmopolitan skyline.
The safari-style canvas tents are outfitted with plush bedding, lamps, private decks and stunning views. There are spaces for yoga, for communal dining, and for reminiscing around an end-of-day campfire. And because you won’t have to pack any sleeping gear, you’ll have a light load to enjoy extra riding on your journey to and from the rally. It’s the perfect starting point to explore, wander, and get lost!
The REV’IT! Adventure Rally will take over Mendocino Grove for the weekend, with on-site parking and training. A variety of sleeping options are available in the canvas tents, but spaces are extremely limited, so read on to book your all-inclusive rally weekend today.

We took a hard look across all segments at what gives the best motorcycle events their magic – the location, the rides, the bikes and, most of all, the people – and decided to build an event that would bring together the best in every category. We searched out a hidden corner of the California coast and found a central location with luxury tents nestled into cedar groves. Then we curated a lineup of food and experiences that show off the best of Mendocino County.
Finally, we sought out the most avid riders from local riding communities to show us the best on-and-off-road rides in the area. And to truly separate this from all other ADV rallies, we partnered with local canoe companies, surfboard rental shops, and yoga instructors to bring you all the adventure the area has to offer.
THE ADVENTURE
We designed this rally to make any adventure possible. We’ve also laid out some experiences and routes, and will let you choose where the weekend takes you. An example of some of the offerings at the REV’IT! Adventure Rally:
- On-site “Dirt Riding 101” clinics
- The Surf & Turf tour: Motorcycle up the coast to a local surf haunt, where you’ll find a board and wetsuit waiting.
- The Tourist ride: Check out Mendocino’s tourist favorites, from the botanical gardens to its quaint downtown area.
- The Dedicated Dual Sport tour: Wake up at the crack of dawn and ride California’s famed “Lost Coast”.
- Self-guided routes through beautiful paved sections of the Jackson State Forest.
- On-site yoga
- Outrigger canoeing
THE SCHEDULE
The REV’IT! Adventure Rally runs from Friday, May 15th until Sunday, May 17th, 2020
Friday, May 15th
ALL DAY: Check-in. Welcome to the Grove! Registered participants will receive routes available on the Rever app prior to the event, so that you can choose your favorite way of arriving at the property.
7PM: Buffet Dinner
Sundown: Campfire!
Saturday, May 16th
6AM-9AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast spread from our partners at Trillium Cafe.
ALL DAY: Take one of our guided rides, or grab a route custom-built for the event on the Rever map and explore on your own! We’ll also have yoga, canoeing, hiking and other outdoor options available.
7PM: Sit-down dinner under the stars.
9PM: Campfire & entertainment.
Sunday, May 17th
6AM-9AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast spread from our partners at Trillium Cafe.
11AM: Use the Rever app to choose your favorite ride back home – or to your next destination!
