Latest WorldSBK revisions result in Imola cancellation
Section: Competition
Aragon and Misano rounds rescheduled for later in the year.
Additional adjustments have been applied to the 2020 Motul Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) calendar as COVID-19 continues to postpone competition.
Dorna WSBK Organization has confirmed the Italian Round scheduled for 8-10 May at Imola has been cancelled altogether.
However, it’s planned that the Aragon Round originally due for 22-24 May will now take place on 28-30 August, with the round at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli moved from 12-14 June to 6-8 November.
The soonest round scheduled on the calendar is now Donington Park in the United Kingdom on 3-5 July, which could potentially be pushed back further as a result of the pandemic.
